Local Government Compliance Dashboard
State law requires local governments to submit financial audit reports to DOAA and requires DOAA to report on compliance with this requirement. This dashboard enhances public access to current information on local government financial reporting and is the official listing of noncompliant local governments.
What’s included in the dashboard? The dashboard identifies the compliance requirements, current eligibility status information, listing of noncompliant local governments, and the status of report submissions for the current reporting year and the preceding five years. The dashboard also provides an eligibility map and presents trends in report submissions and a listing of At-Risk Local Governments.
Where is eligibility for state grant funds reported? The Eligibility Status page in the dashboard identifies local governments’ eligibility for state grant funds. It indicates which local governments are eligible and which are ineligible due to noncompliance with audit report and grant certification form requirements. No state agency shall make or transmit any state grant funds to a local government that has not provided all the audits required by law within the preceding five years.
What are the report submission deadlines? Reports are due within 180 days of each local government’s fiscal year end (i.e., Statutory Due Date). Additional information on report submission deadlines is provided in this Submission Dates Table.
