Staying connected in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene
Hurricane Helene has caused widespread damage across Georgia. Our team has reached out to affected individuals and communities to offer assistance. Greg Griffin, State Auditor of Georgia, was honored by the National State Auditors Association (NSAA) with the William R. Snodgrass Distinguished Leadership Award during the 2024 Annual Conference in Boise, Idaho. His leadership and contributions have made a positive mark on state government auditing.
The Snodgrass Distinguished Leadership Award was presented by April Renfro, Legislative Auditor of Idaho and current NSAA president.
This esteemed award is given to individuals who have shown exceptional leadership and contributed significantly to state government auditing, as evidenced by their sustained outstanding leadership and notable contributions. The award aims to recognize and celebrate these achievements while encouraging increased interest, growth, development, and distinctive leadership in the field.

Statewide Single Audit Report Released
The fiscal year 2023 report contains information on the State of Georgia’s federal dollars spent and on the State’s compliance with various federal program requirements, including suggested improvements and any necessary corrective actions planned.

2024 DOAA Legislative Report
The 2024 Legislative Report includes summaries of all performance audits, special examinations, and tax incentive reports released in the last three years. When applicable, the report also includes the status of recommendations to address identified problems.
